Virat Kohli, the celebrated Indian batter, has retired from Test cricket after a stellar 14-year career. He played 123 matches, amassing 9,230 runs with 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries. Kohli also holds the record for most Test wins as India's captain. His departure, following Rohit Sharma's exit, leaves a void in the Indian batting lineup ahead of the England tour.
