A Buddhist statue stolen from a Japanese temple nearly 13 years ago is returned from South Korea

A 14th-century Korean Buddhist statue, stolen from a Japanese temple in 2012, has been returned after a lengthy legal battle. The statue's return follows a South Korean Supreme Court ruling in favor of the Japanese temple, Kannonji.
