Drone footage shows deputies fire non-lethal weapon to disarm armed children
In New Mexico, a tense standoff involving two young boys, aged 7 and 9, armed with a loaded handgun was safely resolved by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office. Drone footage revealed deputies negotiating with the children, who were passing the weapon back and forth. Sheriff John Allen credited the drone for providing crucial aerial perspective.
