France pledges 10 mn euros for Chernobyl repair: Europe bank

France has pledged 10 million euros to repair the Chernobyl nuclear plant's radiation cover, damaged in an alleged Russian drone attack in February. The EBRD will manage the funds to repair external cladding and restore core functionality, preventing further contamination. This contribution aims to unlock further pledges from partner countries, building on France's existing support for Ukraine.
