The buzz around 'Sanam Teri Kasam 2' has only intensified over the months. The makers officially announced the film with Harshvardhan Rane in 2024, and later, Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane revealed that she had been approached to return for the follow-up. Now, amidst the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack, the actress is said to have been removed from the sequel.
