Posted
In April, Kerala experienced the highest inflation rate in India at 5.9%, contrasting sharply with Telangana's lowest rate of 1.3%. Rural Kerala also faced the highest inflation at 6.5%, while urban Delhi recorded the lowest at 1.7%. A Crisil analysis indicates that wealthier segments bear a greater inflation burden due to core items forming a larger part of their spending.
