WPI inflation falls to 13-month low of 0.9%
Posted
India's wholesale price inflation plummeted to a 13-month low of 0.9% in April, driven by easing prices in food, fuel, and manufactured goods. The WPI Food Index also saw a significant decrease, with vegetable and potato prices experiencing notable drops. This decline strengthens the possibility of an interest rate cut by the RBI in June.
