Spain to limit access to Madrid airport for nontravelers because of homeless encampment problem

Madrid airport will soon restrict entry during certain hours. This is to prevent homeless individuals from staying overnight. The airport authority, AENA, cites unsuitable conditions for habitation. Only passengers, staff, and those accompanying travelers will be permitted. AENA has requested assistance from Madrid city officials. The move comes before the busy summer travel season.
