Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin has strongly criticized the Centre's Presidential reference regarding governors' powers, deeming it an attempt to undermine the Constitution and paralyze non-BJP state legislatures. He argues it subverts the Supreme Court's settled position on governors' roles and accuses the BJP of using governors to weaken democratically elected state governments.
