Tahawwur Rana trial: Govt appoints special public prosecutors, SG Tushar Mehta to lead

The Indian government has appointed Solicitor General Tushar Mehta to lead a team of special public prosecutors for the trial of Tahawwur Rana, a key conspirator in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Rana was extradited from the US and arrested by the NIA in Delhi. He faces charges related to the larger conspiracy behind the Lashkar-e-Taiba orchestrated attacks.
