Addicted to reels, Gujarat student breaks hand to skip exams
Posté
In Ahmedabad, a nursing student's addiction to watching reels led her to self-harm, fracturing her hand to avoid exams. Spending an average of 12 hours daily on short videos, she sought help from Tele MANAS, a mental health helpline. Post-COVID, screen time has surged, with the student receiving counselling and eventually taking her exams.
