Moushumi Chatterjee revealed she was removed from 'Barsaat Ki Ek Raat' due to Amitabh Bachchan. Shakti Samanta informed her about the issue. Rakhee Gulzar replaced her in the film. Later, she worked with Amitabh in 'Piku'. Moushumi also addressed being mistaken for Jaya Bachchan. She stated she dislikes comparisons. She prefers to avoid the limelight.
