In a tragic incident near Bijnor, Constable Manoj Kumar lost his life while attempting to rescue suspects whose vehicle plunged into a canal after a high-speed chase. Despite suffering a fatal electric shock from downed power lines, he heroically alerted his colleagues to the danger, preventing further casualties.
