Mustafizur Rahman experienced a whirlwind 24 hours, playing for Bangladesh in a T20I against the UAE in Sharjah, where he took 2/17. He then traveled over 2,000 km to Delhi to join Delhi Capitals for their IPL match against Gujarat Titans, replacing Mitchell Starc.
