China imposes upto 75 per cent tariffs on plastic imports from US, EU, Japan and Taiwan
Posted
China has imposed anti-dumping duties, reaching up to 75%, on plastic imports originating from the United States, European Union, Taiwan, and Japan. This decision follows an investigation by Beijing into the alleged dumping practices of polyformaldehyde copolymer. The tariffs, effective immediately, are a response to the perceived harm to China's domestic industry, despite recent trade truce gestures.
