After 200+ hoax bomb threats, Delhi govt rolls out SOP for school safety
Posted
In response to over 200 hoax bomb threats in Delhi schools, the Delhi government has rolled out a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for school safety. The new protocol, developed by the Directorate of Education (DoE), emphasizes prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery. It includes mandatory safety audits, CCTV installation, and evacuation plans. Schools must submit monthly safety checklists and ensure special evacuation plans for Children with Special Needs (CWSN). Legal action will be taken against hoax threats.
