Newark airport restrictions extended till June: FAA
Posted
The FAA has extended flight restrictions at Newark Liberty International Airport until June due to ongoing equipment issues, staffing challenges, and construction. The number of hourly arrivals and departures will remain capped at 28. These limitations follow recent radar and radio outages, controller trauma leave, and aging infrastructure problems, prompting calls for a system overhaul.
