Neeraj Ghaywan's 'Homebound,' starring Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, and Vishal Jethwa, premiered at Cannes' Un Certain Regard, receiving a 9-minute standing ovation. The film, the only Indian feature at the 2025 festival, tells a powerful story of childhood friends tested by ambition. The emotional premiere saw tears, hugs, and Karan Johar deeply moved by the film's reception.
