'What was that bang?': Footage shows moment Titan submersible imploded

The US Coast Guard has confirmed that a 'car door slamming' sound captured in footage was the Titan submersible's implosion in June 2023, killing all five onboard, including OceanGate's founder Stockton Rush. The incident occurred at a depth of 3,300 meters, en route to the Titanic wreckage. A delayed message indicating dropped weights created initial confusion, masking the tragedy.
