Shubman Gill: A generational talent to lead India's NextGen in Test cricket
Posted
The sudden Test retirements of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma left a big leadership vacuum in the Indian cricket team and the selectors have backed Shubman Gill for the job. The 25-year-old has led India in five T20Is, Punjab and India A in a handful of matches, and has also been leading Gujarat Titans for the past two seasons. The leadership challenge in the whites is going to be a different ball game, though, and Gill will have his task cut out during the English summer. Those who have seen him grow, evolve, learn and dominate from U-16 days feel he is the right choice!
