In New South Wales, Don James faced a kangaroo attack. The kangaroo chased James into floodwaters near Port Macquarie. Kristy Lees witnessed the incident. She saw the kangaroo and James in a boxing match. The kangaroo tried to drown James. It held him underwater. James escaped when the kangaroo got spooked. Lees helped James and alerted the community.
