Govt to freeze assets and passports of cooperative fraudsters

KATHMANDU: The government has planned to freeze the assets and passports of individuals involved in cooperative fraud. A cooperative debt recovery tribunal will be established to address outstanding debts, targeting directors and loan defaulters. Additionally, the state benefit identity card will be linked to the national identity card.
