Toefl iBT overhauled: ETS brings AI, adaptive testing, CEFR scores, and relevant content for today’s learners

Beginning May 30, 2025, at-home testing will see streamlined support, while January 2026 will bring real-time adaptive sections and dual scoring with CEFR alignment. Upgraded test center equipment and expanded prep resources further support students. These changes aim to provide a more personalized and globally relevant testing experience.
