Peng Yujiang, a Chinese paraglider, survived a harrowing experience after being swept to 28,208 feet by a powerful updraft in the Qilian Mountains. While testing a harness, he was lifted into the upper atmosphere without oxygen, battling freezing conditions and disorientation within cumulonimbus clouds.
