Turkiye set to fine flyers who get up before plane stops
Posted
New regulations in Turkiye impose fines on passengers who unbuckle seat belts, enter aisles, or open overhead compartments before the plane fully stops. Airlines must update in-flight announcements, instructing passengers to remain seated until the aircraft reaches its final stopping point and to allow those in front to exit first. Violators may face fines up to $70.
