A 75-year-old woman with diabetes from Kolhapur's Pachgaon village died from Covid-19 complications at CPR Hospital after four days of treatment. While reports emerged about crematorium workers refusing to handle the body, a health official denied the claims, stating that the last rites were performed following safety protocols.
