Joint rescue operations are underway in Imphal, Manipur, to evacuate stranded medical students and staff from JNIMS due to severe waterlogging caused by heavy rainfall. Over the past few days, torrential rains led to a breach in the Imphal River's embankment, causing extensive flooding in Imphal East.
