Maharashtra to introduce basic military training from Class 1 to instil discipline and patriotism

Maharashtra is set to introduce basic military training for students from Class 1 to instill patriotism, discipline, and promote physical exercise. School Education Minister Dada Bhuse stated that retired soldiers will conduct the training. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has shown support for the proposal, which will involve 2.5 lakh ex-servicemen, sports teachers, NCC, and Scouts and Guides.
