Malayalam superstar Mohanlal made a special appearance in Vishnu Manchu’s film Kannappa. Mohanlal did not charge any money for his role. He even paid for his travel to New Zealand. Vishnu Manchu expressed his gratitude to Mohanlal. He acknowledged Mohanlal's respect for his father, Mohn Babu. This act of generosity is rare in the film industry.
