PV Sindhu advanced to the Indonesia Open's second round after a hard-fought victory against Nozomi Okuhara. However, Lakshya Sen was defeated by China's Shi Yu Qi despite a resilient effort. HS Prannoy also exited the tournament. Other Indian women's singles players, including Malvika Bansod, Anupama Upadhyaya, and Rakshitha Ramraj, faced setbacks, with Bansod retiring due to injury.
