Who is Izz al-Din al-Haddad? Hamas’ likely new chief after IDF eliminated Muhammad Sinwar
Posted
Izz al-Din al-Haddad is poised to potentially lead Hamas after recent Israeli airstrikes eliminated key commanders, including Muhammad Sinwar. Al-Haddad, a longtime member of Hamas’s Military Council, now appears to be the most senior commander left from the group’s pre-war Gaza leadership. Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz warned that al-Haddad and other Hamas leaders are next in line for elimination.
