Japan PM vows to 'energise' S. Korea cooperation under new leader Lee

Shigeru Ishiba, the Japanese Prime Minister, expressed his desire to boost collaboration with South Korea. This follows Lee Jae-myung assuming the presidency. Ishiba highlighted the 60th anniversary of normalised relations. He hopes for a Japan-South Korea summit soon. Ishiba acknowledged varying opinions in South Korea regarding Japan. He aims to strengthen ties through open communication and active exchanges.
