Vedanta Ltd is poised to raise up to Rs 5,000 crore through private placement of secured non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The offering, with staggered maturities, features a coupon of around 9.35%-9.45%, higher than sovereign bond yields. Proceeds will be used for debt repayment and capital expenditure.
