US deports student for fake visa documents; Telangana agent held in forged degree case

A Telangana student was deported from the US for using fake educational certificates to obtain a visa and was arrested at Hyderabad airport. Following his confession, the managing director of an overseas education consultancy was also arrested for supplying forged documents to at least 15 students since 2020. Police seized 150 fake certificates and other evidence. Authorities continue investigating to uncover more involved in the fraudulent visa racket, as reported by the TNN.
