Upon their return to Bengaluru, the team was greeted by huge crowds and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. In videos circulating on social media, the crowd outside the stadium grew so large that Karnataka Police had to use mild force to manage the swelling numbers and maintain order.
