Germany jails Syrian pro-Assad fighter over war crimes

A Syrian man was sentenced to life in prison by a German court for war crimes committed during Syria's civil war. He led a Hezbollah-backed militia responsible for atrocities against Sunni Muslim civilians, including murder, torture, and forced displacement.
