Why were so many Thai farmers among hostages held by Hamas?
نشر بتاريخ
Israel has recovered the body of Nattapong Pinta, a Thai hostage held in Gaza since the October 7th attack. Pinta was among 31 Thais captured by Hamas. Thailand's foreign ministry confirmed his death, noting 46 Thais have died in the conflict. Prior to the conflict, around 30,000 Thais worked in Israel, primarily in agriculture, drawn by higher wages.
