Andhra Pradesh, facing declining fertility rates, plans to incentivize larger families, reversing its previous two-child policy for local elections. Chief Minister Naidu aims to boost population and invest in human capital by offering financial incentives to bigger families and removing restrictions on maternity leave. The state is also providing childcare support and financial assistance for schoolchildren.
