Army to get new air defence boost with Rs 30,000 crore QR-SAM deal

India's defence ministry is set to approve the procurement of indigenous Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QR-SAM) systems for the Army, costing ₹30,000 crore. These highly mobile systems, with a range of 25-30 km, can intercept hostile aerial threats.
