UP governor calls for urgent action on school dropouts, directs 100% enrolment drive for ages 6–10

Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Monday stressed the urgent need to reduce school dropout rates and ensure the timely enrolment of all children aged 6 to 10 across the state. She directed a week-long enrolment drive in every village and called for coordinated efforts to improve the gender ratio, prevent female foeticide, and enhance services at Anganwadi centres.
