Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s journey from the National Defence Academy and the Indian Institute of Science to becoming the first Indian astronaut on a NASA-ISRO mission marks a historic milestone. Selected for the Axiom Mission 4, Shukla will spend 14 days on the ISS conducting vital scientific experiments in collaboration with NASA and ISRO, showcasing India’s growing role in global space exploration through his exceptional education, military training, and international astronaut preparation.
