Ravinder Raina, a BJP leader, played cricket with locals in Pahalgam. This was an effort to bring normalcy back to the valley. Tourism declined after the April 22 terrorist attack. Travel agents will meet in Srinagar and Pahalgam to boost tourism. Security measures are in place for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra.
