Following a video of Indian student being handcuffed and pinned down by US authorities, Congress has criticised PM Modi for his silence on the alleged mistreatment of Indians in America. Jairam Ramesh accused the BJP government of failing to protect the honour of India and its citizens. The Indian consulate in New York is reportedly in contact with local authorities regarding the incident.
