'No details about incident or circumstances': MEA raises Indian student handcuff incident with US; seeks explanation

The Ministry of External Affairs has taken up the detention of an Indian student in the US with the US embassy, according to sources. This follows an incident at Newark Airport where another Indian student was allegedly handcuffed and deported. The Indian Embassy in Washington DC and the Consulate in New York are seeking details.
