Delhi government empowers authorities to impose heavy fines and restrict fee hikes by private schools
Posted
The Delhi government has approved an ordinance to regulate private school fees. This empowers the government to fine schools up to Rs 10 lakh for violations. Schools may also lose the right to propose fee revisions. The ordinance aims to balance school autonomy with parents' rights. Committees will oversee fee regulation at school, district, and revision levels.
