A Houthi ballistic missile, aimed at Israeli civilians, was intercepted by Israeli air defenses, narrowly avoiding a collision with a civilian plane. The attack, claimed by the Iran-backed Houthis, triggered sirens across central Israel and the West Bank. In response, the Israeli Navy conducted its first strike on Yemen, targeting infrastructure at the Hodeida port.
