Air India flight AI171, en route from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, was involved in a crash shortly after takeoff on June 12, 2025. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, carrying 242 individuals, including crew, experienced the incident. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed the crash and deployed NDRF teams to the Ahmedabad airport crash site.
