Air India plane crash: Boeing, a whistleblower, and his 'gap' warning - 'That’s not how you build aircraft'
Posted
Air India Flight AI171, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, killing all 242 onboard. The tragedy has brought renewed attention to whistleblower Sam Salehpour's 2024 warnings about structural flaws in the 787 Dreamliner. Salehpour alleged shortcuts in manufacturing could lead to catastrophic failure. Boeing has refuted these claims, stating the aircraft is safe.
