A London-bound Air India plane carrying 242 people crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport, colliding with a nearby doctors' hostel. Police confirmed one survivor, Ramesh Vishwaskumar, a British national found in seat 11A, is receiving hospital treatment. The death toll is expected to rise due to the crash site being in a residential area.
