The Assam government has issued a shoot-at-sight order in Dhubri, a town bordering Bangladesh, following communal tensions. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma cited a "communal group" attempting to destabilize the region, including alleged poster campaigns advocating for Dhubri's integration with Bangladesh.
